About the Game
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is a fast-paced third-person action game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ. The game was released in 2011 and is available on PC.
You play as Captain Titus of the Ultramarines chapter — a Space Marine with superhuman strength and a heavy arsenal at his command. Forge World Graia has been invaded by the orks, and your task is to repel the greenskin assault and stop the enemy from seizing a deadly weapon of the Imperium. As the campaign unfolds, the forces of Chaos also enter the fray, and what first looks like a straightforward mission turns into a far darker threat.
Combat and Multiplayer
Space Marine combines gunplay with melee combat: you switch freely between the bolter, plasma weapons, and chainsword, finishing off enemies with brutal execution moves and regenerating health in the thick of battle. This isn't a game about cover and retreating — it's about the relentless, forward momentum of a true Space Marine.
Beyond the single-player campaign, the game offers online modes. In competitive PvP, two teams of Space Marines clash across a variety of maps, while the cooperative Exterminatus mode has a squad of players standing together against waves of enemies.
