Re-Legion is a cyberpunk RTS set in a city of the future that seems to have no future left. You take on the role of the Prophet and lead your own cult to power: converting neutral citizens, building an army of followers, choosing dogmas, and gradually bringing the city under your control.
Instead of the economy typical of strategy games, Re-Legion bets on faith, influence, and conversion. Ordinary residents become loyal cultists: they mine CryptoCredits for upgrades, pray to grow faith and unlock special abilities, help hack buildings and advertising panels, expand territory, convert new citizens, or fight enemies.
The story campaign follows Elion's path from a lone prophet to the most influential religious force in the city. The story is billed as mature, with deep background and moral choices. For a standalone fight, Re-Legion also offers the Holy Wars mode: battles against AI-controlled cults for the city and the souls of its inhabitants.
In Holy Wars you can choose the map, your cult's creed, the difficulty level, and the AI strategy. Different creeds grant different skills and dogmas, so your approach to defeating enemies changes from match to match. The goal is simple and harsh: build a cult, gather loyal followers, capture the city, and destroy the enemy Sanctuary.
