What is Sanctum 2
Sanctum 2 is the sequel to the world's first game to combine Tower Defense with a first-person shooter. Coffee Stain Studios released it on May 15, 2013, rebuilding the project from the ground up based on community feedback.
The premise is simple: waves of deadly aliens push toward the oxygen-producing Cores, and you are the last line of defense. Between waves you place towers and build mazes, and during the assault you join the fight yourself in first person.
Four classes and deep customization
Sanctum 2 features four unique character classes. Each is built for its own playstyle, and a flexible customization system lets you assemble your own set of towers, weapons, and perks. The combinations aren't fixed — you decide how to defend the Cores.
