Purification vs Corruption

The core idea in Astrea is a dual "damage" system: Purification and Corruption. Purification helps you harm enemies or heal yourself, while Corruption can hurt you or restore your opponents. Even so, Corruption isn't always a mistake: sometimes you can embrace it deliberately to trigger abilities on the health bar and turn a fight around. The trick is not going too far, or the corruption will consume your character.

Blessings, events, and enemy dice

Tactical depth is deepened by more than 170 modifying Blessings: Star Blessings provide calmer passive effects, while Black Hole Blessings are stronger but come with a drawback. Runs also feature more than 20 random events and enemies that attack with their own dice, whose intentions you can alter to influence the roll results.
