Between Horizons

Between Horizons is a narrative 2.5D sci-fi detective adventure set aboard the Zephyr, humanity's first generation ship on its way to another star. You play as Stella, born on the ship 24 years ago and newly appointed Chief of Security after inheriting her father's post.

33 years into the Zephyr's journey, a sudden incident threatens the ship's social order and its mission. Your job is to investigate the conspiracy, connect clues, question the ship's residents, and decide when the evidence is strong enough to close a case.

The game pairs investigative gameplay with a branching sci-fi story in a semi-open, Metroidvania-style environment. A flexible evidence system lets you assign clues to cases and live with the consequences of your conclusions. Wrong calls don't simply reset the story: your decisions branch the narrative and shape the ending.

Developed by DigiTales Interactive and published by Assemble Entertainment, Between Horizons blends pixel art, 3D environments, and atmospheric visual effects into a distinct sci-fi look. It is built around tough choices, personal freedom, and intergenerational responsibility.
