A Pirate Adventure in an Open World
Windrose is a PvE action game set in the age of piracy from studio Kraken Express, released in early access on April 14, 2026. The game combines the classic "build, craft, survive" formula with a vast open world where the action unfolds both on land and at sea. Explore procedurally generated biomes filled with secrets, dungeons, and quests — solo or together with friends.
Combat System and Naval Battles
The combat is built on souls-like mechanics: every fight demands attention and tactics. Naval battles with boarding actions add a separate gameplay layer — you can capture enemy ships and fight formidable bosses. Transitions between land and sea are seamless, so you never break immersion in the world.
Building and Crew
Assemble a crew, take command of a ship, and build your base as you see fit. The crafting system covers everything — from character gear to ship equipment. The game is in early access, and the developer is actively expanding it.
