Buy Vendir: Plague of Lies for Steam by activation key

What is Vendir: Plague of Lies and why buy a Steam key

Vendir: Plague of Lies is a turn-based party RPG in the spirit of classic CRPGs: a group of heroes, tactical battles, a dark fantasy setting, and a story where your choices matter. It was developed by the independent studio Early Morning Studio and released on Steam on May 30, 2024. At launch the game earned a Mostly Positive user rating on Steam, reflecting steady interest in single-player CRPGs without online mechanics or microtransactions.

A Steam key is a unique activation code in the format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. You enter it in the Steam client under "Games → Activate a Product on Steam," after which Vendir: Plague of Lies appears in your Steam library, ready to download and play with no time limits. This is the full PC version of the game, not a rental or subscription: the key stays permanently tied to your account, and updates and patches from Early Morning Studio arrive automatically through the Steam client. The Ashop catalog offers two options: a key with the EUROPE activation region and a key with the GLOBAL region — pick the one that matches your current Steam account region.

Players from Russia and the CIS need a Steam key for a simple reason: since 2022, direct purchases in the Steam store with Russian bank cards have been restricted, topping up the Steam wallet is unavailable for most players, and alternative payment methods through foreign wallets require extra steps and fees. Buying a key from Ashop restores the familiar flow: key to your email, and the game in your Steam library.

How to buy Vendir: Plague of Lies at the best price on Ashop

The purchase process is built so any player from Russia or the CIS can get a key in a few steps. No VPN and no foreign bank card during payment: you pay with cryptocurrency or from your Ashop balance.

1. Choose the right key region: EUROPE for Steam accounts tied to Europe, or GLOBAL for accounts without regional restrictions. If your Steam account is a standard Russian one without a region transfer, choose GLOBAL.
2. Enter your email — the activation key will be sent there after a successful payment. The address must be valid: support may also use it to reach you if anything goes wrong.
3. Select a payment method. The total is shown on the selection screen.
4. Confirm the payment. Check the price and any applicable fees at checkout before paying.
5. Receive the activation code by email and activate it in Steam: "Games → Activate a Product on Steam → enter the key → confirm."

If the email with the key does not arrive within a few minutes, check your Spam folder: filters sometimes delay messages that contain long codes. If it is not there either, contact Ashop support on Telegram, and an operator will resend the delivery from the order system. Support is available 24/7 and responds in Russian.

Payment methods on Ashop

The store accepts payments through the methods shown at checkout.

Fees and the total are shown before you confirm. Catalog prices are recalculated at the current rate. After a successful payment, the order status switches to "paid," and the system automatically prepares the key for email delivery — usually within minutes.

Safe purchase and Steam key activation

A Steam key is not a password or account access — it is a one-time product activation code. That is why the Ashop checkout never asks for any Steam account details.

• Only an email and a payment method are needed to place an order. Every known Steam key scam relies on getting you to enter credentials on fake pages, so the rule is simple: never enter Steam data anywhere except the Steam client and Valve's official website.
• The activation key is delivered once and is tied to the Steam account where it is activated. The same code cannot be reused, so activate it only on your own account.
• The key region matters: EUROPE keys activate on accounts tied to Europe, GLOBAL keys have no regional restrictions. If your Steam account region differs, Steam will show an activation error — in that case, choose the matching key in the catalog.
• Do not share the key with anyone before activation. Once the code is entered in Steam, it is tied to that account and cannot be transferred. If you are buying a gift, pass the code directly to the recipient so they can activate it on their account.
• Keep the email with the key until activation. If support or the supplier has questions, having the order email speeds up the resolution.

Activation in the Steam client takes a few seconds: Valve verifies the key, and the game appears in your library right away. After that you can download it and launch Vendir: Plague of Lies. If Steam rejects the code, the reason is usually one of two — a region mismatch or a typo during input. Typos are easy to rule out: copy the code from the email and paste it into the activation window.

What awaits you in Vendir: Plague of Lies

Vendir: Plague of Lies is a single-player game in the tactical party RPG genre. A Steam key gives you full access to the PC version, with no session limits or online requirements.

• A party of heroes and turn-based battles. You assemble a group of characters across different classes and fight tactical turn-based encounters where positioning, initiative, and skill combinations matter. Each battle plays out like a small puzzle built around the enemy's strengths and weaknesses.

• A dark fantasy story. The tale unfolds in a world gripped by plague and intrigue; your choices in dialogue and action shape quest progression and faction relationships. Storylines weave together, and the same scene can play out differently depending on your party and earlier decisions.

• Exploration and customization. Character progression, inventory, equipment, and skill development leave room for varied builds and playstyles. Focus on melee fighters, support mages, or a mixed group.

• Isometric camera and atmospheric design. The game is styled after classic CRPGs, with detailed environments and turn-based tactics. The visuals lean into the dark mood of Vendir's world.

• Steam features. Achievements, cloud saves, library, screenshots, and stats — the standard Steam set is available after key activation. Saves sync across devices when you log into the same Steam account.

Buying a key on Ashop gives you the same game as a direct Steam purchase: the build, updates, and patches from Early Morning Studio arrive automatically through Steam. No extra launchers, no ties to third-party stores, and no internet connection required to launch after the initial activation.

Why topping up Steam games through Ashop is convenient

Since 2022, players from Russia and the CIS have been limited in direct purchases on Steam: ruble payment methods in Valve's store do not work, and topping up Steam wallets with Russian cards is difficult. Ashop solves this as a Steam key seller.

• Payment. No need to hunt for Steam wallet workarounds through third countries.

• Key delivery by email. After your payment is confirmed, the key is sent to the address you entered automatically. This usually takes a few minutes.

• Support on Telegram. If you hit an issue with activation or payment, an operator will sort it out in the support chat. Support is available in Russian 24/7, including evenings and weekends.

• Transparent regions. The product card states the key region (EUROPE or GLOBAL), so you can pick the right option for your Steam account. No hidden regional restrictions or activation surprises.

• An alternative to direct Steam purchases for buyers from Russia. Ashop is not affiliated with Valve or Early Morning Studio; it operates as an independent Steam key store. This is a legitimate channel: keys are supplied by distributor partners and activated the standard way through the Steam client.

The Ashop catalog is updated regularly based on actual key availability from suppliers. If a game shows an active purchase button on its card, the key is in stock for instant delivery. If a supplier temporarily runs out of stock for one region, the card shows only the available option and is marked accordingly.
