Velocity is an award-winning top-down shooter in which you pilot the Quarp Jet — the most advanced ship in the galaxy, capable of teleporting at will. The story follows the search for survivors after a black hole collapse, across 50 levels of sci-fi action.
The game combines the speed and intensity of classic arcade shooters with an added layer of strategy: alongside firepower and reflexes, quick decision-making matters just as much. Teleportation and other spatial tricks let you dodge danger, outsmart enemies, and solve tricky puzzles without breaking the pace of combat.
Velocity leans into explosive visual effects, an anime-influenced art style, and an upbeat electronic soundtrack. Every level has online leaderboards and a precise ranking system, so the game rewards not just finishing it but improving your score.
