Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943 is a military strategy simulator from Fulqrum Publishing, released in 2010. The game is dedicated to the Tunisian campaign of early 1943 — a large-scale clash that sealed the defeat of German forces in North Africa.
After the defeat at El Alamein, the Afrika Korps did not surrender. Reinforced with an Italian contingent and the latest weaponry, German forces under General Rommel's command took the field against the Allies once again. A quick victory seemed within reach — but the fighting dragged on, and the German command's plans were never realized.
Choose Your Side
A key feature of the game is the ability to fight on either side of the conflict. You can carry out Rommel's orders leading German and Italian forces, command British troops under Montgomery, or take charge of the American contingent under Eisenhower. Three perspectives on one campaign — three different views of the 1943 events in Tunisia.
