Michonne: the missing chapters
The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries was released on February 23, 2016. Developed by Telltale Games, published by Skybound Games. It is a three-episode adventure game starring Michonne as the lead for the first time — an iconic character from Robert Kirkman's original comics.
What happens in the game
The miniseries fills in the blanks of Michonne's story: the events take place between issues #126 and #139 of the comic. The player learns why she drifted away from Rick, Ezekiel, and her group — and what ultimately brought her back. The plot centers on her inner demons: she copes with heavy losses and regrets from her past that haunt her throughout the story.
Three episodes — one complete story
Unlike the full seasons of Telltale's The Walking Dead, Michonne is a compact miniseries. Three episodes tell a self-contained story that doesn't require familiarity with previous seasons: knowing the comic or the general context of the universe is enough.
