The Thing Remastered is a remaster of the 2002 third-person horror shooter that continues the events of the 1982 film. The story begins where the movie ended: a US special forces rescue team heads to Outpost 31 in the icy wastes of Antarctica to investigate the death of the research crew.

You play as Captain J.F. Blake. At the isolated station, the team runs into an alien life form that shifts its shape and takes on the appearance of the people it kills. Survival is about more than just shooting: you have to manage your squad, watch over your soldiers' fear and trust, and figure out who is still human.
