What is The Last Caretaker
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival and crafting game. It's developed by Channel 37 and published by tinyBuild. The project launched in Early Access on November 6, 2025 for PC.
The world you knew is gone. Earth is flooded and civilization lies in ruins. You are the last active caretaker: an awakened machine, the only force capable of preserving the future of humanity. Around you stretches an endless ocean and the submerged remains of the old world.
Goal and mechanics
Your task is to recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus complex, and launch a new generation of humanity into orbit. The game is built on systemic depth: every decision in crafting, building, and exploration leads to real consequences. There's no randomness here — resources are limited and time works against you.
