Setting and premise

The story begins in the year 2405. Humanity discovers technology that allows faster-than-light travel between stars, but this new chapter opens with disaster: Earth is attacked by an alien force. The base game offers 4 races: Human, Hiver, Tarkas and Liir. Each race has its own way of moving between systems, so matches differ not only in starting conditions but also in the style of development. The game features more than 150 technologies in a dynamic research tree, over 40 weapons across six classes, and ships that can be assembled in three sizes: Destroyer, Cruiser and Dreadnought. Support for up to 8 players against AI and each other over LAN or online is also listed.

Born of Blood adds the Zuul Slavers, more than 90 new ship sections, the Tunnel Drive, technologies, weapons, trade routes, slavery and diplomatic communications.
