About Stronghold Crusader HD
Stronghold Crusader HD is a strategy and simulation game set during the age of the Crusades, focused on castle sieges, fortress defense, and real-time army management. If you want to buy a Steam key, Ashop offers a licensed key for this version of the game.
In Stronghold Crusader HD, the player is sent to the Arab lands to take part in historical battles tied to the First, Second, and Third Crusades, as well as conflicts within the Crusader states. Battles referenced in the game include Nicaea, Heraclea, the Siege of Antioch, Krak des Chevaliers, and the Siege of Jerusalem.
The game offers four historical campaigns playable as the Crusaders and as the forces of Saladin, more than 100 unique skirmish missions, and opponents with cunning AI. The HD version adds support for high resolutions: players can zoom the camera out to see the whole battlefield on one screen, allowing for more precise troop control, flanking maneuvers, luring enemies into traps, or watching fortifications fall.
Stronghold Crusader HD includes both the original Stronghold Crusader and Stronghold Crusader Extreme. In Extreme, the troop limit is raised from 1,000 to 10,000, tactical forces such as the Arrow Volley are available, along with new buildings and a separate chain of skirmish challenges. New units with special abilities are also featured, including an assassin and a horse archer.
