Space Colony Steam Edition is a remaster of the real-time base-building strategy and simulator from Firefly Studios, the creators of the Stronghold series. The game invites you to colonize distant planets, construct intergalactic bases, and keep a balance between profit, safety, and the mood of your crew.

Your colony does not run on its own: every settler has their own personality and needs. Ignore wages, rest, food, or the psychological state of your team and the base will quickly fall under threat. A happy, well-trained crew, on the other hand, helps develop production, gather resources, and defend the settlement against hostile alien life forms.

Build and manage your colony

More than 100 buildings are available to the player, from facilities for mining iron and running profitable production to laser defenses, a sauna, and a restaurant. You can design military and civilian colonies, grow tourism, extract minerals, and strengthen your position against Blackwater Industries.

What the Steam Edition adds

Steam Edition was made specifically for Steam. It includes the "Obar" mini-campaign, achievements, trading cards, Steam Workshop support, Steam Cloud for saves, and a reworked Easy Mode. An HD graphics upgrade is also listed: the high resolution lets you see the whole base on a single screen, keep an eye on your workers, spot threats early, and manage resources beyond the colony.

In Space Colony Steam Edition you can choose a crew from 20 unique characters and train specialists in cybernetics, mining, lasers, and other skills. To protect your colonists, you can use hovermines, laser turrets, and the Dogbot.
