About SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition
SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition is the complete edition of the classic city-building simulator, including SimCity 4 and the SimCity 4 Rush Hour Expansion Pack. Buying at Ashop, you get a Steam key delivered to your account.
You build an entire region of interconnected cities: a quiet farming town, a residential suburb, a high-tech business district, and an industrial zone. Cities share a common transport network, exchange resources, and compete for growth. The challenge isn't just filling in blocks — it's planning how the whole region lives, grows, and responds to your decisions.
As mayor, you manage city infrastructure: build stadiums, airports, universities, and landmark attractions, track resident satisfaction, and respond to crises. The game lets you reshape the terrain, mold the world to your vision, and even unleash disasters on your cities — volcanoes, tornadoes, meteors, and lightning strikes.
The Rush Hour expansion expands transportation management. You get roads, railways, aviation, and waterways, plus individual vehicle types. In U-Drive-It mode, you can take the wheel yourself: fight crime, clean up after disasters, chase down a bank robber, or catch a car thief. New road types are added too — wide avenues, suspension bridges, and one-way streets.
The game belongs to the Simulation and Strategy genres. Developer: Maxis (an Electronic Arts studio). Publisher: Electronic Arts. The original SimCity 4 launched in January 2003, and the Deluxe Edition with the Rush Hour expansion followed in September 2003.
Note: SimCity 4 was built for the systems of its era. On modern computers you may run into unexpected performance or graphics issues; if that happens, try running the game in windowed mode and/or enabling compatibility mode.
