What's in Sid Meier's Civilization® VI: Babylon Pack
Sid Meier's Civilization® VI: Babylon Pack is a content pack for Sid Meier's Civilization VI that adds Babylon led by Hammurabi. It's a good fit for players who want to expand their strategic options in a game: Babylon is strong in science, as well as in government and infrastructure development.
Babylon's unique abilities
Babylon's civilization comes with the unique ability Enûma Anu Enlil: Eureka boosts grant full science toward technologies, but reduce the amount of science earned per turn. Hammurabi's leader ability, Ninu Ilu Sirum, freely builds the building with the lowest production cost in each specialty district the first time that district is built in a city, and grants a bonus envoy for the first construction of other districts. The Government Plaza does not count.
Unique unit and building
Babylon gets a unique unit, the Sabum Kibittum — an ancient melee fighter with increased strength against heavy and light cavalry, plus extra movement and sight range. The unique building Palgum replaces the Water Mill: it unlocks with Irrigation, provides production and housing, boosts food on freshwater tiles, but requires a city to be adjacent to a river.
Heroes & Legends mode
Babylon Pack also adds the Heroes & Legends game mode. In it, players can find and recruit legendary personas through the city project Heroic Sagas, by exploring the world, and through diplomacy with city-states. Heroes have a limited lifespan, but can be brought back using Faith; after their first death or once their lifespan ends, they leave behind heroic relics.
Great people, city-states, and improvements
The pack also includes 24 new great people, including Rumi, Margaret Mead, and Imhotep, 6 new city-states of different types, and 2 unique improvements: the Mahavihara from Nalanda and the Trade Dome from Samarkand.
