A thousand years later, the Fatestones are scattered across the world, the evil gods are regaining their strength, and eight heroes set out on their own paths.
The remaster adds new possibilities. The sorceress Aldora can now join your party, revealing scenes where she recounts Mirsa's travels. Schiele, Marina, Monica, and Flammar also join the roster of playable companions. Some bosses now have enhanced versions, and battles against them come with newly arranged battle music.
Quality-of-life features have been improved as well: a high-speed mode, mini-maps, and a New Game+ mode that carries progress over on repeat playthroughs have all been added. New classes are also included, broadening the ways you can play.
