What is Risk of Rain
Risk of Rain is a 2D action platformer with roguelike elements from studio Hopoo Games, published by Chucklefish. The game launched on PC on November 8, 2013. Your ship crashes on a hostile alien planet, and the task is simple in words but hard in practice β survive and find a way out, fighting through hordes of monsters and bosses.
The key feature is the difficulty timer. The longer a run lasts, the more aggressive the enemies become, so you can't afford to slow down. At the same time, you collect items that stack with each other: a well-built loadout turns your hero into a true destruction machine. Every run is unique thanks to random item drops and procedurally generated levels.
