Resident Evil 3 Nemesis (1999) brings Jill Valentine back into the nightmare of Raccoon City. After surviving the notorious mansion disaster and resigning from S.T.A.R.S., Jill is trying to flee the city, but escape proves anything but simple. The streets are overrun with flesh-eating zombies, and survival comes down to nerve, smart resource management, and using the environment to your advantage.
This survival horror classic peels back more of the Umbrella Corporation's sinister plot and begins just hours before the events of Resident Evil 2. Expect tense third-person gameplay, a mix of 3D models and prerendered backgrounds, sci-fi horror atmosphere, tougher enemies, and grotesque mutations hunting you across Raccoon City, led by the relentless Nemesis.
The re-released version, co-developed by GOG, ships with six localizations: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese. Mercenaries Mode is included, along with an upgraded DirectX renderer, improved graphics engine initialization and restart, better video subtitles, a refined options dialog, reliable task switching, and clearer mouse cursor visibility.
Graphics options cover display mode, fullscreen or windowed presentation, aspect ratio correction, scaling method, vertical synchronization, gamma correction, anisotropic filtering, and antialiasing. Some differences between settings can be hard to spot depending on your hardware and display.
