What is POSTAL
POSTAL is a cult isometric shooter from independent studio Running With Scissors, the very game that kicked off the notorious series back in 1997. You play as the Dude, a man pushed to the edge who sets out to tear through one neighborhood after another. The top-down camera, dense crowds of enemies, and the grim atmosphere of a ruined town make POSTAL feel distinct from the later entries in the series.
The game became known for its brutality and provocative tone, and it stirred up loud debates in its day. The gameplay revolves around clearing open levels: you fight your way through enemies with a growing arsenal of weapons and gradually push toward the exit. It is raw, uncompromising old-school action where the goal is to survive and reach the end.
