Jagged Alliance 2 - Wildfire brings you back to Arulco: a country with an inept and corrupt regime, a terrified population, a reckless army, and a drug cartel around which local power and the mafia revolve. You operate undercover on behalf of the US government, but don't expect a warm welcome: the locals still need to be convinced that you're on their side.

The game combines strategy and RPG. You'll hire professionals through A.I.M., build a combat-ready squad, take mercenaries' personalities into account, train fighters, and send them on dangerous missions and firefights. Victory isn't built on strength alone: sometimes a tactical retreat and a strike from another flank is more advantageous than a direct assault.

Wildfire adds squads of up to 10 mercenaries, 8 new playable fighters with individual backstories, 230 new and reworked sectors, new settlements, and denser building layouts. Landscapes vary by vegetation and close-combat conditions, weapons and explosives have been rebalanced, and enemies have become tougher, smarter, and demand more flexible tactics.
