Metavira Island: Mercenaries Against a Tyrant
Jagged Alliance is the turn-based tactical strategy with RPG elements that launched the entire series bearing its name. The game was released in 1995 by publisher Sir-Tech. The action takes place on the tropical island of Metavira, home to rare trees whose sap is prized as a raw material for an expensive medicine.
Power on the island has been seized by force by Lucas Santino. To restore control of Metavira, you'll need to hire a squad of professional mercenaries and, sector by sector, fight your way across the territory.
