Ground Zero is a retro survival horror game from Malformation Games (published by Kwalee), released on April 16, 2026. The story unfolds in South Korea after a catastrophic meteor strike: the country lies in ruins, and every living creature has mutated into a monster.
Two months after the impact — once the dust storms have settled and the air has become breathable again — an elite Korean agent and her Canadian counterpart arrive on the scene to investigate. What really destroyed Busan? Where did the strange growths that appeared after the collision come from? The game has you fighting monsters, solving puzzles, and upgrading your gear as you gradually uncover the truth about the disaster.
