Setting and Scale
Fallout: London carries the familiar post-apocalyptic formula into a devastated London: a new story, London districts, factions, weapons, items, creatures, clothing, NPCs, and a reworked interface that nods to the British "Protect and Survive" campaign. According to the mod's own listed figures, it offers up to 90 hours of playtime, 200 quests, 20 factions, 7 companions, and 15 districts built from scratch.
Installing on Steam vs. GOG
On the Steam version of Fallout 4 GOTY, running Fallout: London requires downgrading the game and installing through a separate launcher. The GOG version is simpler: install the English-language Fallout 4: GOTY Edition through GOG GALAXY, turn off cloud saves, get Fallout London for free, install it, and follow the launcher's instructions.
Important Installation Notes
Installing Fallout: London irreversibly changes the standard Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation and uses a shared save folder, so cloud saves must be disabled beforehand. To go back to playing regular Fallout 4 GOTY, you will need to remove both the game and the mod, then reinstall Fallout 4 GOTY from scratch.
