Esoteric Ebb is an isometric single-player RPG developed by Christoffer Bodegård and published by Raw Fury (released March 3, 2026). It's set in the fantasy city of Norwik, which is preparing for the first elections in its history. Everything changes when someone bombs a tea shop — and no one but you and your goblin companion Snell is willing to take on the investigation.
Mechanics and Atmosphere
The game is built on Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules: key moments are resolved with dice rolls, making every fight and diplomatic clash unpredictable. You'll explore the streets and tunnels of a sprawling fantasy city, arguing with devils, drunk sphinxes, and other mythological characters who sell newspapers in corner shops and cling to the most outlandish ideologies. The original setting is deliberately eccentric: dead gods left behind rambling last wills, and politics is steeped in supernatural absurdity.
