In the story, Chickenhare and his friends set out to find 7 crystals before Spiking-Beard does, racing to save the kingdoms from Chaos. It's a bright adventure aimed at both kids and parents, featuring exploration of magical lands, secrets, traps, and puzzles, along with battles that reward quick reflexes as well as clear thinking.
The game's central feature is its trio of playable heroes. Chickenhare glides through the air using his ears, clearing obstacles and reaching high places. Abe uses his shell to smash through vulnerable structures and open up new paths. Meg is skilled in martial arts, jumping and kicking her way past enemies. Switching between the three characters is essential for clearing levels, solving puzzles, and finding hidden items.
Players will slide down slopes, ride zip lines, break through walls, use a lasso on enemies and objects, collect items, and explore worlds full of secrets. Locations range from the halls of Featherbeard Castle to the grim depths of Demon's Hole. The visual style draws on the Chickenhare universe familiar from the animated films and comics, though the story here is new and made specifically for this video game.
