What Is Blood Bowl 3
Blood Bowl 3 is a turn-based sports strategy released on February 23, 2023. Developed by Cyanide Studio and published by Nacon, it brings classic American football into a fantasy world while closely following the rules of the original Games Workshop board game. Your goal is not just to score touchdowns but to literally trample fallen opponents along the way.
Seasonal Factions: Three Teams, Three Styles
Blood Bowl 3 content rolls out by seasons, with each one introducing a new faction:
- Season 1 — Lizardmen: Blood Bowl veterans with an eight-thousand-year history. Exemplary teamwork and high discipline make them one of the most technical squads in the tournament.
- Season 2 — Underworld Denizens: a mix of goblins, skaven, trolls, rat ogres and snotlings. They draw power from warpstone and exotic mushrooms, and dream of humiliating the wealthiest opponents on the pitch.
- Season 3 — Undead: masters of necromancy with a traditionalist take on the game. A less obvious but effective style.
Who the Game Is For
Blood Bowl 3 is aimed at fans of turn-based tactics and the Warhammer Fantasy universe. The strict rules, the randomness of the dice and the variety of races deliver hundreds of hours of replayability in both single-player and multiplayer.
