Arena of Valor (AoV) is a mobile MOBA from TiMi Studio Group (Tencent Games). The global release happened in 2017, and the RU server launched on April 16, 2020. The game is available on iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch. AoV is the global adaptation of Honor of Kings — one of the highest-grossing mobile games — localized for markets outside China.

What sets AoV apart is its fast 5v5 matches lasting 12-18 minutes, quicker than League of Legends but with comparable mechanical depth. There are over 100 heroes, including licensed DC characters such as Batman, Wonder Woman and the Joker, plus crossplay between mobile and Nintendo Switch. The flagship tournament is the Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC); the most recent edition ran in November-December 2025 in Vietnam with a $500,000 prize pool.

The RU server is active: updates land regularly and the VK community at vk.com/arenaofvalorru stays busy. Players have also noted renewed activity on Level Infinite servers across several regions since 2025.

What vouchers are in Arena of Valor

Vouchers are AoV's premium currency, bought with real money. The game uses several currencies:

Vouchers — the main paid currency. You use them for premium content that can't be unlocked with Gold or Gems.

Gold — the soft currency you earn in matches. Some heroes and basic upgrades can be unlocked with Gold for free.

Gems — a secondary premium currency used for Lucky Draw (the gacha system). Some Gems can be earned for free through events.

Arcana — rune pages that adjust hero stats. Some are bought with vouchers.

What vouchers are spent on:

• Heroes — some heroes can only be bought with vouchers and aren't available for Gold
• Skins — standard and seasonal hero skins
• Valor Pass — the seasonal battle pass with exclusive rewards for owners
• Lucky Draw — the gacha system for rare and exclusive items
• Arcana pages — rune pages for fine-tuning stats
• Gifts for friends — gifting other players on the same server

The Valor Pass is AoV's seasonal battle pass, similar to the battle pass in other games. You buy it with vouchers, and it rewards you with skins, hero fragments and extra vouchers as you complete seasonal quests.

Arena of Valor servers: how to pick the right one

Choosing the correct server matters when you buy vouchers. Packages aren't interchangeable across servers: if you play on the RU server but buy a package for the EU server, the transaction won't go through. Each server has its own set of voucher amounts.

RU server (CIS)

Available packages: 150 / 750 / 1800 / 3750 / 9750 / 21000 vouchers.

The RU server covers the CIS audience. If you installed AoV before 2022 from the Russian App Store or Google Play, you're almost certainly on this server. All Russian-speaking AoV communities (VK, Telegram) center on the RU server.

How to check: open the game, then your profile or the shop page — the server region is shown there. You can also check the server selection screen during first login on a new account.

ME&NA server (Middle East, North Africa, Asia)

Available packages: 130 / 650 / 1560 / 3250 / 8450 / 18200 vouchers.

This server serves the Middle Eastern audience and parts of Asia. If you downloaded AoV from alternative sources after 2022 and chose the MENA region during first login, your account is here. It also works for players from Kazakhstan and the CIS who set up a MENA account to get around regional restrictions.

EU server (Europe)

Available packages: 100 / 500 / 1200 / 2500 / 6500 / 14000 vouchers.

The European server. It's relevant for players who switched to the EU after 2022 to access content through the European App Store. If you changed your Apple ID region to a European one and re-registered, check whether you ended up on the EU server.

LatAm server (Latin America)

Available packages: 120 / 600 / 1440 / 3000 / 7800 / 16800 vouchers.

This server covers the Latin American audience. Some CIS players land here when using Brazilian or Mexican accounts to bypass restrictions. If you're not sure, check your server in the game before ordering.

How to confirm your server

1. Open AoV and go to the main screen
2. Head to account settings or your profile
3. Find the "Server" or "Region" section — your cluster is listed there

Never pick a server by guesswork or by country name. The server is set when you first register the account and doesn't always match your current region.

Why you can't buy vouchers directly from Russia

Since March 2022, Google Play and the App Store have restricted ruble payments for Russian accounts. The in-game AoV store runs through these platforms, so buying vouchers directly from Russia is no longer possible.

On top of that, MIR cards and cards from Russian banks aren't accepted by the foreign payment systems AoV uses for direct purchases.

How AoV top-up via Ashop works

Arena of Valor doesn't support top-up by UID/Player ID — unlike PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang or Free Fire, where entering the player ID is enough. AoV has no such API and no gift-code system for vouchers. This is simply how the game works, and every service that handles AoV uses the same approach.

Step by step:

1. Pick your server and voucher package in the Ashop catalog
2. Choose a payment method and complete the transaction
3. In the order form, enter the login (email or username) and password for your AoV account
4. The operator logs into your account, opens the shop and buys the chosen package
5. Vouchers are credited straight to the account
6. The operator logs out and confirms the order is complete
7. Once you get the confirmation, change your account password

Top-up is done manually: AoV's design doesn't allow automating it through an API. Processing time depends on current operator workload.

Important while your order is being processed: don't log into AoV from your own device. A parallel session will interrupt the operator's work and force a re-order.

Account security during login-based top-up

Sharing login details is standard practice for AoV because the game offers no other way for third-party services to work. Here's exactly what happens to your account, and what doesn't.

What the operator does:

• Logs into your AoV account
• Opens the in-game shop
• Buys the chosen voucher package
• Logs out

What the operator can't do, and what stays protected:

• Changing the account email requires confirmation on the current email — impossible without your access to it
• Changing the password — same thing, it needs email confirmation
• Editing Facebook/Google links — requires access to the social account
• No selling, transfers or any operation beyond the single purchase

Even so, once your vouchers arrive we recommend changing your account password. It takes 1-2 minutes in the game settings and fully revokes the operator's access. If your account is linked through Facebook or Google, you can temporarily unlink it before the top-up and reconnect it afterward.

Extra measure: if you use app-based two-factor authentication, share a temporary code along with the password, or turn 2FA off briefly during the top-up.

Payment methods on Ashop

MIR card — cards from Russian banks. Ideal for players in Russia.

SBP (Faster Payments System) — pay by QR code or payment link through your banking app. Works with any bank connected to SBP, no separate card needed.

Cryptocurrency — BTC, ETH, USDT (TRC20 and ERC20). A universal option for players in Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia and other CIS countries where MIR cards and SBP aren't available.

Each server offers six amounts, from the smallest package to the largest. Before you choose, make sure you've got the right server (see the section above).

Vouchers for specific goals

For the Valor Pass: the battle pass is covered by mid-size voucher packages. It's best to activate it at the start of the season so you have time to finish the quests and claim every reward tier.

For heroes: the cost depends on the hero. New releases and rare characters are usually pricier than standard ones. Check the price in the in-game shop before ordering — it helps you pick the right amount.

For Lucky Draw: the gacha system for rare skins and exclusive items comes with a pity guarantee — after a set number of pulls, a rare item is guaranteed. Larger voucher packages are handy for a run of pulls.

For skin collecting: if you want several skins in one season, a larger package cuts down the number of separate orders through an operator.

Valor Pass — Arena of Valor's battle pass

The Valor Pass is AoV's seasonal battle pass. You buy it with vouchers, and it unlocks paid content that isn't available on the free track.

What the Valor Pass offers:

• Special skins and hero looks available only through the pass
• Hero fragments and other in-game resources
• Extra vouchers from seasonal quests — part of your spend comes back as vouchers if you play actively
• Access to exclusive cosmetics (frames, effects)

The Valor Pass is tied to the season and has an expiry date. The earlier you activate it after a season starts, the more quests you can finish and the more rewards you can claim.

Lucky Draw — Arena of Valor's gacha system

Lucky Draw is AoV's draw for exclusive content: rare skins, effect sets and special frames. Each pull costs a number of vouchers. The system includes a pity guarantee — a built-in counter that guarantees a rare item after enough pulls.

Lucky Draw runs on limited windows, so specific exclusive items are only available on certain dates. Keep an eye on the schedule through AoV's VK community or the official site at arenaofvalor.com.

Nintendo Switch and Arena of Valor

AoV supports Nintendo Switch and is one of the few mobile MOBAs with crossplay between Switch and mobile. The Switch version uses the same account and the same vouchers as the mobile version: if you buy vouchers for the RU server through Ashop, they're credited to the account and available on any platform. No extra steps needed.

Payment and support

After you pay through Ashop, vouchers are credited via manual top-up by an operator. If your vouchers don't show up after payment is confirmed:

1. Make sure you didn't log into AoV while the order was being processed
2. Restart the game client — sometimes the balance just needs a refresh
3. Check that the correct server was selected in the catalog
4. Contact Ashop support on Telegram with your order number

If the top-up wasn't completed, you get a full refund. If the vouchers were credited and confirmed by the operator, refunds aren't available (standard for digital goods across the industry).
