Abalone brings a fresh look to the famous abstract strategy game known for its hexagonal board and black and white marbles. The goal is easy to understand: push your opponent’s marbles off the board. Winning, however, takes planning, patience, and careful reading of every move.
On each turn, move 1, 2, or 3 lined-up marbles one space in any direction. When your marbles outnumber your opponent’s in a Sumito position, you can push their marbles toward the edge and out of play. A rushed attack can quickly turn into a bad position, so strong defense matters as much as pressure.
Abalone includes solo play against AI with Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels, a solo campaign with unique challenges, and a mode for creating your own game setup and rules. You can also play locally with Pass & Play Mode or compete online by logging in to an Asmodee account.
